I get it!  You’re a parent.  You’ve got individual needs and interests, but you’ve also got others looking up to you to lead them and teach them.  

As a mom of 3, I fully understand that there’s more to life than working out.  Your priority is your family, but you want to show up as the healthiest version of yourself for their sake. You need a program that’s going to supplement your life, not control it.

About me.

Hi!  I’m Sara! Former science teacher and mom of three.

I’ve always loved being active, from my days as a middle school and high school long distance runner to discovering the joy of the weight room.  

When I became a mom, I quickly became aware of the need of support and community through the ups and downs of parenthood.

I was still working as a teacher, but fitness became my “me time.”  There were the home workouts,  interrupted by a toddler request for a snack or a shortened nap.  There were the gym workouts, where I often lugged the infant car seat in with me and positioned it by my treadmill to keep an eye on my sleeping baby.  And there were the boot camps, working out alongside women of all ages and stages of life.  All of these experiences helped to increase my passion for encouraging other women to take charge of their fitness and wellness, and I became certified through NASM as a personal trainer and behavior change specialist.

Having gone down the spiral of a disordered relationship with food and exercise to achieve a certain body aesthetic, my approach as a coach is holistic.  Your physical fitness is intricately intertwined with your spiritual, mental, and emotional wellness, so I provide support in these areas as needed.

What does Family Life Fitness Include?

Once you sign on for Family Life Fitness, you’ll get log in information to download our app.  Inside the app, you’ll get:

  • 5 weekly workouts (2 days are cardio or intervals and 3 days of bodyweight workouts) with video demonstrations.

  • Two way messaging with me to work towards your goals

  • Weekly supplemental family activities surrounding a theme of wellness (this summer, it’s nutrition) along with a video from me, introducing the topic.

  • Periodic habit reminders for whole person wellness.
